Earthquake Relief

In a collective effort to provide urgent relief after the earthquake in the Atlas Mountains, ICOR rallied its compassionate members, receiving generous contributions. Recognizing the importance of effective distribution, we partnered with PMI Chapter and Basma Foundation, both integral parts of the same dedicated group.

PMI Chapter manages significant donations and international shipments, while Basma Foundation coordinates agile teams on the ground. ICOR, in collaboration, directed its donations to the Taroudant area, focusing on underserved villages. Our committed volunteers, ventured into the region over the the day after the quake and remained on-site, offering hands-on assistance and unwavering support.

Centre Social Kariat- CSK

Our International Kids Club (IKC) actively champions the cause of Centre Social Kariat (CSK), a non-profit NGO based in Salé dedicated to aiding children with disabilities. Through physical therapy, education, emotional care, and practical assistance, CSK empowers these children. In a delightful collaboration, IKC youth participated in a kayaking day alongside CSK kids, creating a joyful adventure on the Bouregreg River. The engagement fostered connections between our international kids, adult volunteers, and the local community. Beyond such activities, IKC has organized fundraising events to further support the essential work of this impactful association.

Children's Cancer Hospital

Children's Cancer Hospital, Rabat

During various ICOR events, members actively collected food to support parents of children facing terminal or life-changing illnesses. These families, often grappling with low incomes, find solace in Maison de l'Enfant. Launched in 2007 within the hospital garden by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Maison de l'Enfant serves as a socio-educational and training space for children hospitalized for an extended period. This facility offers a comforting retreat for families navigating the challenges of pediatric cancer treatment.

Les Enfants de l'Ovale

In Mers El Kheir, a small town near Temara, ICOR members launched an English program to support the motivated children of the community. Faced with limited school spaces, these kids attend school only half the time. Recognizing the growing importance of English in Moroccan education, ICOR's additional support has been warmly embraced. This Moroccan town has experienced an unexpected transformation with the introduction of rugby, sparking an oval revolution.  Youth in the area, guided by the tireless efforts of former rugby players Papa Ali and Papa Hassan, have found dignity and hope through the sport. A grassy field, a testament to the energy of teenagers in this disadvantaged neighborhood, symbolizes resilience.  This short video (French/Arabic) highlights the association's impact in the area.

La Tribu des Quat'pattes Maroc

Guided by compassion and a shared love for animals, the young members of ICOR's International Kids Club (IKC) have eagerly collaborated with La Tribu des Quat'pattes Maroc, a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the well-being of our four-legged friends. This volunteer initiative is fueled by the belief that kindness transcends boundaries. In partnership with La Tribu des Quat'pattes Maroc, IKC youngsters actively participate in fundraising activities geared towards creating a safer and more compassionate environment for animals in need. Through their voluntary efforts, these young members not only contribute to the well-being of the furry inhabitants but also gain valuable insights into empathy, responsibility, and the significance of caring for our animal companions.
