Any subscription paid to the association is non-refundable; no reimbursement of subscription can be required in case of resignation, exclusion, departure or death of a member during the year. No partial payment in proportion to the time of attendance is accepted.

Complete the full application and submit to our Membership Committee via the link in the form. You will receive notification of your final application status within 7 days.

ICOR is a members-only English speaking non-profit social club for international individuals, families, and returning locals who have lived abroad for three or more years. Members must be residents of the Greater Rabat area.

ICOR offers three types of paid membership plans; individual; individual + partner, and a family plan including children. Memberships are valid for from September of the current year through August of the following year. Memberships are renewable annually if the member continues to meet ICOR Membership Criteria.

What exactly is ICOR?ICOR is a members-only English speaking non-profit social club assisting international individuals, families, and returning locals previously living abroad to acclimatize to their new home in Rabat. ICOR aims to promote local culture, engage in the community and provide value to its members through activities and actions. Information on ICOR activities and any other important communications are shared with members on a weekly basis by WhatsApp. More regular communication is shared on the Facebook closed group reserved for confirmed ICOR members

If I join, how long does my membership last?ICOR Membership is annual. The club membership year runs from September of each year to August of the following year. Early registration is available starting in June of each year. We always welcome returning members if your Rabat residence status has not changed.

Do I have a voice in matters concerning the ICOR social club?Yes. Your opinion matters and is an essential part of our bylaws and association practices. Each primary member has one vote in any association matter.

Is there a membership fee?Yes. The Membership fee is annual: 400dh for the primary member +200dh for spouse or designated partner +100dh for children (17 years and under, total cost, not per child).

What are the criteria for membership?Membership criteria include English proficiency, residency in the greater Rabat area, and status as international citizens or local citizens returning after a 3-year absence or more. Our aim is to have at least 25% of our community comprised of returning Moroccans.

How long does it take for my membership application to be approved?Applications may take up to 7 days to be approved.

Will I be notified if my application does not meet ICOR Membership Criteria?Yes. We make every effort to be an inclusive social club that serves our member community in the Rabat area. We are not an exclusive club, but membership is selective based on the specific dictates of our non-profit association's Constitution & Bylaws. These are outlined in the application process and should be reviewed prior to submitting an application. Our Membership Committee will notify all applicants of their final application status via email within 7 days of submission. What are the the benefits of being a part of the ICOR Community?ICOR is a Trusted Community of international individuals, families, and global citizens. All members are vetted and meet our judicious criteria for membership. Participation in a wide variety of workshops and activities Cultural outings, sports, coffee mornings & pub nights, book & chess clubs, and community outreach are just a few of the opportunities ICOR offers for our international community.
